It is important that the information in your resume to be divided as closely as possible to the middle. Half of your information should consist of jobs, education, dates, contact details, and the other half should list your achievements, promotions and personal development.
in Houston, Texas 57 months ago | Should you list your certification number on your resume, or wait until they ask for it? If the number isn't needed, I was just going to put MLS(ASCP)beside my name at the top. But if the # is needed, I was going to just make a separate 'Certificates' section and leave it off my name at the top. Listing all that by my name doesn't look right and doing both seemed silly. |
in New Jersey 57 months ago | I personally don't think you should include the certification number, but a resume is something personal that you can modify as you wish. You could try different things out. If someone decides to hire you then they will ask for your certification number, some place even request your diploma or transcript. In my resume I have a separate line for certification where I list the type of certification I have and the date this was achieved. On your objective you could also list that you are ASCP certified. Hope this helps. Good luck! |
